SEPT 21- We all know about Superstar Rajinikanth’s huge fan following. For more than a decade, his fans want him to join politics but he has always evaded the topic.
Now according to a leading daily, there is a buzz of the actor joining politics. He is believed to be close to Narendra Modi and BJP president in Tamil Nadu Pon Radhakrishnan has appealed to the actor to support the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
“He is the most responsible and respected person in the state and he has concerns for the nation in general and the state in particular. I issue an open appeal to the actor to take a good decision and voice in favour of the party,” he said.
Recently, some of his fans in Coimbatore had come out with posters urging him to aspire for the chief minister’s post.
Well, it is yet to be seen whether he will join politics or continue his favourite work – acting.
