JOHOR BAHARU, Sept 30- Gerakan party members are still committed and loyal to the party despite their shortcomings, according to its Acting president Datuk Chang Ko Youn (photo).
“In fact, we are raring to bounce back and strengthen the party,” he told reporters after opening the Gerakan Johor annual Delegates’ Conference here Sunday.
He said the party was making efforts to find the mechanism in rectifying the shortcomings among them including paving the way for younger members to lead the party at state level.
“The state level party polls would be concluded by Oct 6 after which would be the central party polls on Oct 26.
“What is important is that we admit (the shortcomings) and find a way to resolve them,” he said.
