Kuala Lumpur, Oct 22 – A singer and actress of the 80’s era, Noreen Noor, 52, died at the Ampang Puteri Hospital, Ampang here from complications of the heart and kidney.
Persatuan Seniman Malaysia president Rozaidi Abd Jamil or Zed Zaidi confirmed the matter when contacted by Bernama today.
“The late actress died at about 5am and her body will be laid to rest at her hometown at Km16, Kampung Pulai, Melaka. “Her body has been claimed by her family at about 9.30am,” he said.
Noreen Noor or her real name Noraine Mohd Nor, who became popular through the song ‘Siang Terbayang Malam Merindu’, left behind a 22-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter.
