Kuala Lumpur, Feb 19 – The 13th Malaysia International Technology Expo (MTE) 2014 will kick off here tomorrow, showcasing more than 700 local and international inventions, innovations, products, designs and ideas for commercialisation.
The three-day show, to be held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), is expected to attract an estimated 10,000 trade visitors and more than 100 exhibitors.
In a statement today, event organisers said the Invention and Innovation Awards 2014 and the 2nd Malaysia Design Expo and Awards would be held alongside MTE 2014.
The MTE will also feature the Asian Youth Innovation Awards and Expo 2014 with the objective to encourage and nurture a new breed of technocrats.
It is organised by the Malaysian Association of Research Scientists and Protemp Exhibitions Sdn Bhd.
Admission for MTE 2014 is free for both trade and public visitors.
The opening hours are from 10 am to 6 pm on Feb 20-21, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Feb 22.
