Kuala Lumpur, March 8 – A Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight Saturday from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing has gone missing, the airline confirmed.
Flight MH370, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew, lost contact with the Subang Air Traffic Control at 2.40 am Saturday, it said in a statement.
MAS is working with the authorities which have activated a search and rescue mission to locate the aircraft, it added.
The airline said it would provide regular updates on the situation.
