Kuala Lumpur, March 21 -The father of one of the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH370 passengers is still pining for the return of his daughter, Norliakmar Hamid, 33.
Hamid Ramlan, 56, a police personnel at the Bukit Aman police headquarters here, said even though it was a torture for him and his family, he was still confident that Allah could find his daughter and son-in-law, Mohd Razahan Zamani, 24 (correct).
“The couple has gone to Beijing, China for honeymoon. For almost two weeks we have not receive any positive information about them,” he said when contacted by Bernama here.
He, however, said the family members would accept their fate if anything happened to them no matter how painful it would be.
Meanwhile S.Thenmoli, 26, the younger sister of another Flight MH370 passenger still believed that her brother would definitely come home to the waiting arms of the family even though it was already 13 days since the plane had failed to be traced.
Thenmoli, who works as an operations executive in a private company here, said her family members were still waiting for the return of S.Puspanathan, 34, who boarded the plane to Beijing, China for work purposes.
“This morning I saw the news on the satellite image showing two objects that can be attributed to the missing Flight MH370 but I still believe my brother is safe,” she told Bernama here.
Thenmoli said her family would be holding prayers for her elder brother to be found as soon as possible.
Puspanathan is married to K. Sridevi, 30, a housewife and the couple has two sons P. Varmer, aged three, and P. Thashuvarmen, aged one.
According to Thenmoli, her sister in-law now resides in Batu Caves, Selangor with her mother after there was no positive news on the incident.
The plane, with 227 passengers and 12 crew on board, was enroute to Beijing, China when it disappeared one hour after departing from KL International Airport at 12.41 am last March 8.
Today Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott told Parliament in Canberra that his country’s satellite image showed two objects that could be attributed to the MAS plane.
