May 2 – Within two days of it’s release, the title track of Fugly starring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar has taken the web world by storm. The song ‘Yeh Fugly Fugly Kya Hai”, went viral within hours of it’s release online and has emerged as one of the most searched videos in recent times.
Infact, the signature step performed by Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and debutants Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani, Vijender Singh and Arfi Lamba, is fast gaining popular as the ‘spider step’.
Producer of the film, Ashvini Yardi was heard to be saying, “Our motive to make Fugly popular among the youth has been reassured by the response the video is receiving. Viewers are loving it. The lyrics of the song represent the feel of the film.” Fugly will release on June 13 and also features Jimmy Shergill.
