ALOR SETAR, Feb 16- Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrived in Kedah today for a one day official visit to the state. Muhyiddin began his visit by attending the North Zone 1Malaysia Young Teachers Assembly (GM1M) at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Hutan Kampung, here at 10am.
Later, Muhyiddin who is also the Umno Deputy President, will attend the Kuala Kedah Parliamentary collaboration launch at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Pantai, Kuala Kedah near here. After the launch, he would spend time attending a gathering with the Siamese community at Wat Siam, in Naka.
In the evening, Muhyiddin will attend the Merbok Parliamentary 1Malaysia People’s Assembly at Padang Awam, Taman Ria Jaya. At the event, he is expected to launch the Kedah Barisan Nasional (BN) Blue Wave, as a symbolic move for BN to reclaim the state in next the general election.
