New Delhi, May 14 – The entire nation is curious to find out what Gujarat chief minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be doing on May 16. Well, the BJP leader has plans to watch the election trends till 12 pm at his residence in Gandhinagar. As picture gets clearer, he will go to state BJP office in Gandhinagar and then between 2.30-3.00 pm he will leave for Delhi.
In Delhi, programmes will be organised in the evening at Ashoka road, BJP HQ. Modi was on Tuesday felicitated by BJP MLAs against the backdrop of exit polls predicting that BJP-led NDA is set to form government at Centre.
“It is the ‘mantra’ of my life to play any role given by my party with commitment and I will ensure that there is no slackness in it,” Modi said in his address to MLAs after the BJP legislature party meeting at the state Secretariat.
Contrary to speculations that deliberations will be held at the meeting on Modi’s likely successor in state if he were to form government at Centre and head it as prime minister, the meeting was centred around Modi’s contribution to “BJP’s victory”.
