New Delhi, May 22 – Former chief minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar congratulated Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi for the first time on Facebook. “I had already expressed my respect for the nation’s verdict on the day of election results. My good wishes and congratulations to Mr Narendra Modi again on his victory,” wrote the JD (U) leader in the concluding line of his note.
On one side, Nitish congratulated Modi, but in the same post Nitish took a dig at Modi, saying “I have never used “lie” or the “Marketing” for getting the people’s mandate. Nitish also wrote about Jitan Ram Manjhi, the newly appointed chief minister of Bihar. “I have full confidence in him. I believe he will get the support from the people of Bihar.”
