TELUK INTAN, June 14 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today attended a closed-door meeting with leaders of the State Barisan Nasional (BN) component parties, here.
Also present were Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Umno vice-president, and Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, who is Perak BN chairman.
Others present at the meeting included Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, who is also Umno treasurer, Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong who is also Teluk Intan Member of Parliament, and Perak MIC chairman Datuk R. Ganesan.
The Prime Minister, who is also BN chairman, arrived at the Teluk Intan Municipal Council Rest House, here for the meeting at about 10am and the meeting ended at 10.55am.
Shortly after his arrival, Najib was greeted by members of the Teluk Intan BN Wanita and Youth members. Najib later attended the launching of the 1Malaysia Public Housing (PR1MA) project at the Dataran Menara Condong.
