PUTRAJAYA, Feb 19 – “It is a good start, we can continue to strengthen the relationship and work hard for the benefit of all in the country,” said MCA Deputy President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai. Liow when commenting on the recent Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s visit to the United Chinese School Committees Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) Chinese New Year open house said he was very happy that the Prime Minister took the trouble and found time to attend the function.

“We are serving the rakyat, it is the same objective,” he said. Najib last Sunday became the first prime minister to attend a Chinese New Year celebration organised by Dong Zong since it was established 59 years ago, held at Dong Jiao Zong Higher Learning Centre in Kajang.
