Mother repeatedly asked Nur Shazana to resign as stewardessPUTRAJAYA, July 21 — The mother of Nur Shazana Mohamad Salleh, one of the victims of the MH17 crash in Ukraine yesterday night, had repeatedly asked her daughter to stop becoming an air stewardess and to work in other fields.

Sharom Ibrahim, 57, said she had asked Nur Shazana to change her job as she was worried that undesired incidents would occur especially after the case of the disappearance of the aircraft MH370.

“But she had refused. She liked to travel. She had said that even pedestrians could die. I had told her that in this case there would at least be a body, but she had said that it would be better if the aircraft would just burst,” she said when interviewed here two days ago.
