New Delhi, July 30 – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has added another feather to his cap by becoming the only actor to have seven of his films crossing the Rs.100 crore mark consecutively.
The 48-year-old actor achieved this feat after his latest flick Kick achieved the milestone on Tuesday. Noted film trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the film entering the elite club.
Begining with 2009 blockbuster Wanted, Salman has delivered seven continuous blockbusters like Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2 and Jai Ho since then.
Marking the directorial debut of film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Kick received a bumper opening last Friday and garnered Rs.26.7 crores on the first day itself. The earnings grew manifold as the flick collected Rs.27.15 crores on Saturday and Rs.30.18 crores on Sunday.
Directed by Nadiadwala, Kick features Jacqueline Fernandez alongside Khan. Randeep Hooda and Gangs of Wasseypur-fame actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui also feature in the film.
