KUALA TERENGGANU, Feb 23- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here about 9.20 this morning on a one-day working visit to Terengganu. Najib and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, were welcomed by Terengganu Menteri Besar and state Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Said and his wife Toh Puan Seri Norliza Mahmud, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek and state Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to launch the Jelajah Janji Ditepati Programme at Dataran Shahbandar at 10.30 am. He is also expected to walkabout at the Pasar Besar Kedai Payang here before that, and have breakfast with the local residents in the area. In the evening, Najib will have a closed-door meeting with the state BN component party leaders at Ri-yaz Heritage, Pulau Duyong.
Meanwhile, Rosmah is scheduled to launch the Taska PERMATA Keluarga at Kampung Serdang Baru, Bukit Tunggal here at a separate function in the evening. The PM and his wife will leave for the capital after that.
