Kuala Lumpur, November 9 – Famous international coffee chain Café Coffee day (CCD) has opened its second outlet at NU Sentral, the latest shopping mall located in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. The Mall adjoins KL Sentral, the bustling transport hub for Kuala Lumpur.
Café Coffee Day’s first outlet was opened last month at the Pearl International Hotel, in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur. The second outlet is at NU Sentral was opened for business on the 5th of November 2014.
CCD is an international coffee chain having its presence in Europe and India. In India it has a strong presence with about 1,600 branches and is reputedly the largest coffee chain in India.

Malaysia is the first nation in South East Asia chosen by CCD to expand their international operations.
The Malaysian franchise for CCD was secured by ONS Ventures Sdn Bhd (ONS). The Chairman and Managing Director of ONS, Haji Shahul Hameed (pic) said “our second outlet in NU Sentral is in line with our Malaysian plan to have 30 outlets over the next 3 years. We have identified another 3 outlets in Klang valley for immediate opening over the next few months”.

Haji Shahul also said CCD is proud to be associated with NU Sentral Shopping Complex which is the latest attraction in Kuala Lumpur. “We are also happy with the support we have been receiving from our customers since opening our outlet in NU Sentral” Shahul further said.
