redmi-noteXiaomi continues to sell a truckload of RedMi Note units. On Tuesday, the phablet was on the sale again on Flipkart and this time its stock lasted 8 seconds. Around 75,000 units of the RedMi Note were on sale on Tuesday.

“Today’s sale: out of stock in less than 8 seconds. Thank you Mi fans for the amazing support,” Manu Kumar Jain, who heads Xiaomi India said on his Twitter page. During the first sale on December 2, Flikpart had sold all the RedMi Note units it had in stock in 6 seconds.

Xiaomi uses “flash sale” model to sell its devices. It decides the time of the sale in advance and asks prospective buyers of a device to register for it. Then at the predetermined time — usually 2PM on Tuesday — people who have registered for the sale have to log on to the Flipkart and buy the device.
