New Delhi, December 16 – Only recently, Microsoft launched its first self branded Lumia phone — 535. Clearly it is not stopping with the 535. Nokia Power User has leaked images of the Microsoft Lumia 435 which is expected to be cheaper than even the Lumia 535.
Reportedly, the phone will have a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel screen, and it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. It is also expected to have a 5-megapixel rear camera. It could also sport dual-SIM capabilities like most of the new low-end Microsoft Lumia phones.
Essentially, it appears that this phone will fill the gap of an affordable Lumia at price point where Microsoft currently offers devices like the Nokia X and Nokia Asha. The phone could have hardware touch buttons.
Even from its looks, the phone appears to be similar to the Nokia X. It is possible that it may end up with similar hardware specs. It is likely that the device will compete with Android phones like the Moto E.
It is a well known fact that Microsoft’s Windows Phone based devices perform well on frugal hardware, and the Lumia 435 could take advantage of this inherent advantage.
