New Delhi, January 28 – Chinese tech major, Huawei’s new flagship device, the Honor 6 Plus now has an all new gold variant that costs around $390 in China. Apple’s newest smartphones, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus also come in dazzling gold variants.
However, according to Huawei, making a golden Honor 6 Plus is way harder than making a gold iPhone 6/6 Plus. Is this just another promotion strategy, or does this have some concrete base to it? Apparently, yes.
According to Huawei, unlike the new iPhones, its golden Honor 6 Plus has gold all across the device’s length and breadth. The Honor 6 Plus (Gold) is what some might call a true golden handset.
Apple’s iPhones on the other hand have white front panels, therefore the quantity of gold used therein is obviously smaller than that in the case of Honor 6 Plus.To add to the grand scheme of things, the Honor 6 Plus (Gold) comes with a nice pattern on top of the gold on both front as well as on the back.
The Huawei Honor 6 Plus (Gold) is currently available only in China, much like the original. It comes with the exact set of specifications as that of the original as well: a 5.5-inch display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution; an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 925 processor alongside 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage and a 3600 mAh battery.
