New Delhi, March 20 – Microsoft has just announced its Lumia 430 Dual-sim version. Available at a price of $70 (roughly Rm.245), the device is the most affordable Lumia smartphone till date.
The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 and the Lumia Denim Update. It will also get the distinction of being the cheapest Lumia device that can be upgraded to Windows 10.
The update is expected later this year. Since it comes pre-loaded with MS Office, one will also have access to word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets etc. at all times.
The Lumia 430 Dual Sim will feature a 4-inch display, and 1GB RAM. It will be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Other features include 8GB internal storage, which is expandable to 128GB via microSD. The rear and front cameras will be 2MP and 0.3MP respectively. The device will run on a 1500mAh battery.
It will come in the colors, black and bright orange, and will be available in the markets of Russia Kazakhstan, Ukraine, APAC, IMEA and Belarus from April. The prices in separate markets are expected to slightly vary.
