New Delhi, April 2 – According to a research by Phoenix Marketing International, two thirds of Apple Pay users face difficulty in conducting transactions through eligible Apple devices. The research was conducted on 3,000 owners of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus where only 66 per cent of the owners used the feature to make payments at retail stores.
Out of the 66 per cent who used the feature nearly 50 per cent complained that a lot of outlets did not support the payment method despite being listed on Apple’s list of partners. 48 per cent of the users were annoyed by the time it took to make a single transaction and another report from Bloomberg,
which took into account a different set of opinions, also confirmed the problems with the payment method. Despite all the unimpressive statistics Apple Pay is moving forward with the technology especially in United States. The Bank of America claims that 1.1 million Apple Pay cards are already in use.
