The ruling by the court to grant the interim injunction comes as a surprise since assurances were given by the lawyers for the “CWC 2009” that their clients would not hold meetings or implement the decisions of ROS (Registrar of Societies) until the disposal of the case.
However, some lawyers following the MIC-ROS case closely, pointed out that it is quite common for the court to grant such interim injunctions to maintain the status quo.
