KUALA LUMPUR, March 21 – Naza Italia Sdn Bhd, the sole importer and distributor of Ferrari cars in Malaysia, aims to sell between 30 and 35 units of its newly-launched Ferrari F12berlinetta this year. Naza Group joint group executive chairman, Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin, said the target was achievable due to the overwhelming response from market to the new model.

“We have already received bookings for 20 units before the model was unveiled today,” he told reporters after the launch of the new model here today. He said the Ferrari F12berlinetta replaced the GF 599-GTB model, which has won several awards across the Old Continent, including 2012 Top Gear’s Supercar of the Year.

He said the target market would be 60 per cent from current owners of the GF 599-GTB and 40 per cent from the competitors’ customers. The Ferrari F12berlinetta is available in two colours — rosso berlinetta and aluminium. It is priced at RM3.3 million on-the-road.
