Kuala Lumpur – MIC’s Central Working Committee (CWC) met Tuesday afternoon (21 November 2017) amidst much expectations but ended without any significant announcements.
However, MIC sources said party President Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam briefed the CWC members that discussions are in progress with leaders of MIC branches still outside the party, on re-admitting them back into the party. No further details were revealed, sources said.
The CWC meeting today also did not discuss about the pending appeal by former Treasurer General of MIC Datuk R.Ramanan to be re-admitted into the party again. Ramanan was expelled from the party in 2015.
