3 Malaysian Students questioned by Manchester Police

PUTRAJAYA – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced having received reports that on 29 May 2017 at 5.40 pm (local time), three (3) Malaysian students were detained by the Greater Manchester Police. It is believed that the students were brought to the Longsight Police Station in Manchester, for questioning. All three (3) students were later released at 9.00 pm (local time).

The Ministry wishes to advise the public to remain vigilant and follow the instructions by the local authorities. Malaysians living in Manchester are advised to report to the High Commission of Malaysia in London as per below:
