Putra Jaya – In a press statement released today MIC President and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam wished every success to students sitting for SPM/STPM examinations which commenced today
“I take this opportunity to wish every success to students sitting for SPM and STPM examinations commencing today. I congratulate them to succeed in these examinations so that they would be able to continue their tertiary education and achieve their chosen ambitions in the field of education. For a student in Malaysia, SPM and STPM are important examinations because only by succeeding in these examinations they would be able to gain entry into colleges and universities to pursue their tertiary educational dreams. Hence these examinations are important milestones in the lives of Malaysian students” Dr Subra said in his statement.
“While wishing the students to succeed in their SPM/STPM examinations, I also wish to congratulate their parents who had made sacrifices to fulfill their children’s educational needs. We also cannot forget at this juncture, the dedication and sacrifices of school teachers who ensured that their students prepare well for these examinations” Dr Subra further said in his statement.
Dr Subra also noted that several parts of the country are affected by torrential rains and severe floods and therefore, advised and urged parents and students to take precautionary measures during examination dates to avoid any eventualities.
