Muhyiddin challenges Opposition to abolish 1Malaysia programmes if Pakatan takes over Putrajaya

Nuclear summit in South KoreaMUAR: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin challenged the Opposition if they come into power would they abolish all 200 1Malaysia programmes for the rakyat.

He said PKR’s strategic director Rafizi Ramli was quoted saying that if Pakatan Rakyat comes into power they would abolish the BR1M cash handout for the poor.

“We have over 200 1Malaysia products and benefits targeted specifically to various sections of society ranging from to the poor, fishermen, single mothers, students and more.

“I challenge Rafizi and Guan Eng to give an answer by tomorrow.

“If PR comes to power, will they stop all this greatly beneficial programmes?

“If they remain silent, that means they acknowledge that the Barisan Nasional’s policies are working and why should the rakyat vote them into power if they can’t do this for the rakyat,” he said this in his speech after meeting the residents and fishermen in Kampung Sri Pantai in Muar here on Sunday.
