Kuala Lumpur, Feb 7 – Mercedes-Benz has sold 109,477 vehicles worldwide in January, up 15.4 per cent, from the same month last year.
“After the record year in 2013 we are starting a new year of growth with strong products. Especially the E- and S-Class, which are very well received by our customers.
The flagship of the brand, the S-Class sedan, sold 7,431 cars in January, representing an increase of 69.2 per cent over the same month last year.
“This is a new sales record,” said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd in a statement.
In the Asia Pacific region, the company continued its positive trend from the previous year, where it sold 39,324 vehicles in January, an increase of 44.3 per cent from the same period last year.
