MIRI, March 8 – The people in the state should not gamble by opting to vote the opposition in the coming general election because the opposition coalition are not united like Barisan Nasional (BN) said Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud(Pic).
Taib who is the state BN chairman said the failure to reach a consensus on who will be the Prime Minister among the opposition coalition, clearly proved that there was no unity among the parties like BN which has a clear direction when its comes to who should lead the government.
“BN has a good track record when it comes to improving infrastructure in Sabah and Sarawak,” he said at a meet the people session in Bekenu here today. He said opposition cannot match BN’s track record because the coalition does not the capability as well as experience to manage the country.
Therefore, he wants the people to give BN the mandate to lead the country in the coming general election to ensure a continuous development in the state.
