March 15,2013-Student protests gathered steam as a crowd from Dr Ambedkar Law University, Chennai continued their hunger strike for the fourth day consecutively. Surrounded by the police, supportive Tamil leaders and political outfits lend their support intensifying the cause further.
These members voiced their appeals for the United States and pro Lanka sponsored appeal. A realization of a separate Tamil independent state in the north and east of Sri Lanka is what they need. Be it, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Erode, Krishnagiri or Mannargudi voices cry in unison in favor of the US-backed resolution at United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva.
Soon after pictures of the cold blooded execution of LTTE chief Prabakaran’s 12 year-old son Balachandran Prabakaran surfaced online, eight students from Loyola College chained protests in response.
