SHAH ALAM, March 25 – The Shah Alam Barisan Nasional (BN) today declared that it is prepared to accept and support any candidate the party leadership fields in the Shah Alam parliamentary constituency and the two state constituencies within — Bukit Anggerik and Batu Tiga — in the next general election.
Shah Alam BN chairman Datuk Ahmad Nawawi M. Zin(pic) said the more important thing was to win the seats and recapture Selangor from the opposition. In the general election in 2008, the BN lost Shah Alam to PAS and Bukit Anggerik and Batu Tiga to Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR). Ahmad Nawawi said the Shah Alam BN machinery of over 3,000 people was ready to face the 13th general election, which would be called any time now.
