Hong Kong – Tamil School students have once again proven that they have the mettle to shine even at International competitions given the right training and opportunity.
This time Masai Tamil School students from Johor, showed their talents in an International English Drama Competition held in Hong Kong on 25 and 26 May 2018 organised by Dramatic English, Hongkong, winning two awards.
Masai Tamil school won the best costumes category and became 2-nd runner-up among the participating teams, in the grand final.
The contestants were initially asked to send in their entries through a video presentation of their performance. The entry submitted by Masai Tamil School won the first round and were asked to present their performance in person in Hongkong for the final competition.
Masai Tamil School students together with their teachers and trainers flew to Hong Kong on Thursday (24 May), with the help of some sponsors and well-wishers.
They staged their performance in Hong Kong and were judged winners in the best costumes category and also became 2-nd runner-up in the overall category.
