Director-general of Broadcasting Datuk Norhyati Ismail said RTM, which celebrated its 67th anniversary today, need to move in tandem with the new media besides improving conventional media.
“That is why we are focusing on development in technology and social media. Maybe we will launch a new product which we will announce shortly,” she told reporters after attending RTM’s Monthly Assembly and 67th anniversary celebration in Angkasapuri, here, today.
In the event, 41 RTM staff who were involved in the coverage on the Sulu terrorist intrusion in Lahad Datu were presented with appreciation certificates for their service in delivering latest information on the issue.
