Now, an organisation which fights for cleaning up Indian sports has accused his brother N. Ramachandran of fraud and wrongful practices. The organisation Clean Sports India, where former athlete Ashwani Nachappa is a top office bearer, has accused Ramachandran of resorting to fraud in his bid for presidentship of World Squash Federation.
Ramachandran is accused of withholding information on his positions and violating WSF rules and IOC code of ethics. He is also accused of siphoning off funds meant for poor players.
The charges come days after the Delhi High Court slammed Ramachandran for fraud and manipulation in getting the national sports award.
