JULY 4- After the Ishrat Jahan chargesheet in which he wasn’t named, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will focus on his Mission 2014 on Thursday.
Modi has reached Delhi to finetune the BJP’s campaign contours in a key party meeting on Thursday.
Modi will discuss the strategy with the BJP parliamentary board, of which he was recently made a member. Modi is also likely to chair a meet of BJP’s campaign committee.
Modi is also slated to meet President Pranab Mukherjee in the evening today
Modi will also discuss the ways to blunt the fake encounter cloud on his administration and police. And primary on his agenda will be BJP’s ‘vision’ for minorities, a carefully formalised plan to woo Muslims. The BJP’s vision document for minorities promises real empowerment without any form of appeasement.
It is also critical of secular parties who it said are duping Muslims. The BJP fears polarisation of minorities after Modi was made its poll mascot for 2014.
