SEPT 4- Twitter user Hasan Syed has done an interesting thing to complain about the poor services of British Airways.
Syed has taken on the airlines by buying a promoted tweet to complain about his father’s lost luggage.
Syed bought the tweet in New York and UK markets on Monday night.
He used Twitter’s self-serve ad platform for buying the promoted tweet but refused to disclose the cost of it.
Marty St. George, senior vice-president of marketing and commercial at JetBlue Airways, had tweeted after this and said, “Interesting; a disgruntled customer is buying a promoted tweet slamming a brand where they had a bad experience. That’s a new trend itself!”
