SEPT 10- Kochadaiyan means the king with the long curly mane and its a fictional period film which has some inspiration from Tamil history. The movie has used motion capturing technology in 3 D.
“Its fiction only to entertain. It will have every element to make fans happy and jump. An historical fiction story . We have used performance capture motion. Not an animated film. Only captured real characters and applied to virtual world,” explained Soundarya.
Rajni is playing a father and son in the movie which is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Japanese, Gujrathi and Marathi. And Rajnikanth has rendered his voice for the Tamil verses in the movie.
A.R. Rahman explained that Rajni was just reciting the verses and not singing. And the Oscar winner loved Rajnikanth’s voice. The superstar’s introduction song engo pogudhu vaanam will be released as single track in the coming week followed by audio launch.
