DUBAI, Feb 20 – The world’s most advanced 3D activity tracking device, mymo, was launched here on Wednesday during the Dubai Municipality’s Car Free Day, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
Tupelo, a regional mobile health and technology innovation company headquartered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in partnership with Tekha Group, are joining Dubai Municipality as part of its initiative to encourage Dubai residents to put their green foot(print) forward.
As Dubai Municipality is encouraging everyone to go car-free, Tupelo will be encouraging people to go the ‘extra mile’ via the introduction of the flag ship activity tracking device.Tupelo develops wearable, mobile lifestyle, mobile medical devices and connected apps that capture real time daily activity and personal health statistics, storing the data in the cloud.
Its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Martyn Molnar, said that mymo is one of the flagship products.
The CEO further explained that mymo is a small round device that is clipped to clothing and detects an individual’s activities (walking, running, resting,calories, distance travelled) “and its designed right here in the UAE”.Mymo wireless transmits its data and displays the information within a smartphone app or within Tupelo’s online health and wellness portal–mymolife.com.
Molnar added that Tupelo’s corporate mission is to inspire people towards healthier and more active choices in their daily lives, enabling them with the tools to “get active, live well and be Strong”.
