IIFA 2014 – Bollywood razzmatazz ends with a bang!

hrithik-thumbTampa Bay, April 28 – The four day long film extravaganza came to an end at the Raymonds James Stadium where the film fraternity had gathered to award the best performances of last year.

It was Hollywood meets Bollywood on the last night of the IIFA awards in Tampa bay, Florida as Hollywood legends John Travolta and Kevin Spacey were seen strutting down the green carpet along with our desi actors.

Among the biggies Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakashi Sinha and Ranveer Singh made a stylish entry on the IIfA awards green carpet, each of them looking like million bucks.

Donning a Red lace gown Deepika Padukone looked quite excited for the night with not one but three nominations in the best actress category, Deepika Padukone, Actor “the response has been overwhelming and this IIFA has been great, much more than expected”.

On the other hand Hollywood actor John Travolta was honored the most popular Hollywood star on the final night and he revealed his plans for his debut Bollywood film Paani directed by Shekhar Kapur and  also expressed a desire to do a song and dance number. “We would be shooting it in fall in India and Spain and yes I would like to do that its quite up my valley.” the Saturday Night Fever star said.

While Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor complimented each other perfectly while walking the green carpet, Priyanka Chopra, dressed in a nude bling gown ACTORwas seen gushing while speaking of all the praises showered on her by John Travolta.

“I met him too and he said he liked exotic and Krissh. What an honour”, she gushed. Sonkashi Sinha was all excited to see her father Shatughan Sinha receive the lifetime achievement award. The chirpy actress said,”I am here to see my father receive the lifetime achievement award”.

The final night of the IIFA weekend was nothing less than mini Oscars with more than 30,000 fans screaming to get a glimpse of their favorite stars, autographs, crooning Bollywood songs and clicking selfies and practically the entire film fraternity descending on the IIFA green carpet to celebrate Indian cinema under one roof.
