New Delhi, May 31 – Protesters from various organistaions shout sogans against the Uttar Pradesh government during a protest today in New Delhi.
The protest was organised against the gang-rape of the two teenage cousins who were gang-raped and hanged on 28 May 2014.
Relatives of two teenage cousins accused police of shielding the people accused of the crime.
The girls, cousins aged 14 and 16, went missing in the Badaun district of northern Uttar Pradesh state late 27 May and their bodies were found hanging from a tree the following day.
