KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 — MIC President Dato Seri G.Palanivel has called on the authorities and Police to ensure that Indira Gandhi gets child as soon as possible.

“MIC is extremely concerned about the ongoing saga of the child custody case of Indira Gandhi which has been highlighted in the media extensively.
It is extremely important to note that the country’s legal system is credible and the government has responsibility to ensure that the stakeholders can be trusted to implement and enforce all court decisions without fear or favor.
The world is watching this case closely through the foreign media hence we need to ensure it does not create negative impacts about our country across global. In this respect, the government is expected to uphold its commitment in ensuring justice served to its people.
In this regard, it is pertinent to note that Indira has won the case constitutionally; hence, we seek the authorities to put this case to rest by ensuring Indira gets her child soonest possible with the interference of police and respective authorities without further delay.”
