This brings the number of people killed at the airport in the largest city and capital of Sindh province to 38 including 10 militants.

Sindh province’s Health Minister Sagheer Ahmed said all seven bodies belonged to employees of a private cargo company.

One airport official remains missing.

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told a press conference on Monday a total of 19 security personnel including 11 from the Airport Security Force (ASF) were killed in the attack.

Another 24 including airport and security personnel were injured, with two succumbing to injuries at hospital on Monday night and several in critical condition.

On Sunday evening, ten militants posing as ASF personnel attacked the airport from an area used for cargo and VIP operations.

All ten militants were killed following a five-hour operation by the Pakistani army and ASF.

The militants were believed to have attacked the airport to destroy aircraft with reports of two or three planes receiving minor damages.

Flight operations at the airport resumed 15 hours after the attack.
