KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 – Malindo Air will commence direct flights to Krabi, Thailand, from Subang and Penang, from mid-September. In a statement Wednesday, the hybrid airline said Krabi is the first international service out of Penang for it and the second, after Batam, from Subang.
“We plan to add more destinations in the coming months and as soon as new aircraft arrive,” Chief Executive Officer Chandran Rama Muthy said. Fares for the Penang-Krabi and Subang-Krabi services start from RM149 and RM179 respectively, one-way, and inclusive of airport taxes, free baggage allowance, light refreshments and aerobridge use.
