KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 – The strong northwestly wind and rough seas in the waters off Perlis, Kedah and Sabah (Kudat and East Coast) are expected to continue until this Tuesday.
According to a statement from the Meteorological Department, winds with a speed of 40 to 50 kms per hour and waves up to 3.5 metres high was dangerous to small boats, recreation and sea sports.
For shipping activities, the strong and rough sea conditions are also expected to hit waters off Phuket, Condore, Reef North, Layang-layang and Palawan until Tuesday.
