POH, October 14 – The father of Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir has passed away. Abdul Kadir Muhammad, 73, succumbed to a heart attack at 1.10 am this morning at Hospital Desa Pangkor, Pulau Pangkor.
A statement from the Menteri Besar’s Office said the deceased would be buried at the Masjid Teluk Raja Bayang cemetery, Pulau Pangkor after Zohor prayers.’Pak Karim’ as he was affectionately addressed, left behind seven children including Zambry.
The statement also said that he served as village chief of Teluk Raja Bayang for 23 tahun before retiring last year.
