Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and BJP president Amit Shah were present at the release of the manifesto. Promising a corruption-free government, Jaitley said revenue generated from auctioning coal blocks would be spent for the development of the state.
Shah asked voters to elect the for BJP for a stable government in Jharkhand. He urged the people to place their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Buoyed by the victories in Maharashtra and Haryana, the BJP is hoping the Modi card will do the trick in Jharkhand as well.
