New Delhi, February 4 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, congratulated Sri Lankans on their country’s 67th Independence Day, saying he looked forward to President Sirisena’s visit in February.
“My greetings to the people of Sri Lanka. The bonds of history, culture and shared values that we share are unbreakable,” IANS quoted Modi. “My best wishes for the development of Sri Lanka in the years to come. I look forward to welcoming President (Maithripala) Sirisena later this month,” he added.
