SINGAPORE, March 6 – Former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s condition remains largely unchanged since the last update on Feb 28, the Prime Minister’s Office said Friday.
It said in a statement that the doctors continue to monitor his condition.
Lee, 91, is warded in the intensive care unit at the Singapore General Hospital where he was admitted on Feb 5 for severe pneumonia.
He remained sedated and on mechanical ventilation, it said.
Lee, Singapore’s first prime minister who helmed the government from 1959 to 1990, is regarded as one of the longest serving prime ministers in the world.
