rtr47hw0-650_040715052623New Delhi, April 8 – Twitter will now allow subscribers to use up to 116 additional characters apart from the original text in a retweet. This will also enable users to embed links within the message instead of just providing the link.

The ‘quote tweet’ feature will let users share the tweet and add a relevant comment by just clicking on it. The new feature is already available for iOS users and Android will follow shortly. For the website a user will have to click the retweet icon, and add the comment in the pop-up “Add a comment” field before clicking “Tweet.”

The 140 character limit has always been challenging for Twitter users and to mention a tweet one had to reduce the length of their own text in order to stick to the limit. The new feature will not only give better presentation to the tweet but will also enable people to express freely.
