Kuala Lumpur – In connection with the hiring of Indian workers from India, the High Commission of India has drawn the attention of Malaysian employers to the Government of India’s recently introduced online mechanism of E-Migrate system, to connect all the stakeholders involved in the emigration life-cycle on one common platform.
This system, effective since July 2015, requires all Foreign Employers, who are willing to hire manpower from India, to register in the E-migrate system mandatorily. The objective is to provide efficient, convenient, cost-effective and reliable emigration services in a transparent manner.
The High Commission is encouraging Malaysian employers to incorporate themselves in the E-Migrate mechanism by registering online in web portal www.emigrate.gov.in. The High Commission of India can assist Malaysian employers in this regard.

Malaysian employers, while availing of the rehiring option under the current scheme, requiring assistance from the High Commission of India, may also contact them.
Indian nationals are also encouraged to utilize the model contract available on the website of Indian High Commission with respect to their employers to ensure their own security and welfare at work. The High Commission is available, as always, for any assistance for Indian workers in Malaysia.
